Amid a nationwide fight against Koro, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak to the chief ministers of all the states of the country through video conferencing today. Presumably, measures to end the lockdown gradually could be discussed during this discussion. This will be the third video conference between the chief ministers of the states and the prime minister after the outbreak of the Koro epidemic in the country.
Government sources have indicated that the next strategy to meet Corona's challenge will be to discuss ending the lockdown. The nationwide lockdown has been extended for the second time until May 3 due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
The central and state governments have made concessions in a number of areas to provide relief to the people and boost the economy, but some states intend to extend the lockdown beyond May 3 to curb the transition to corona.
Addressing the nation for the first time on March 24 in the wake of the Corona epidemic, Prime Minister Modi imposed a nationwide lockdown from March 25 to April 14. However, despite the strict implementation of the lockdown, the government has extended the lockdown by 2 weeks and implemented it till May 3.
