Decision to close shops in Ahmedabad after deliberation with Traders Association. Vijay Nehra


A further 182 positive cases of corona and three patient deaths occurred in the city on Saturday.  On an average, more than seven people are rushing to Corona every hour.  So far, a total of 2003 patients have been registered and the death toll has been 86. Giving information about the condition and system of corona in the city, Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner Vijay Nehra said that 49 patients have been discharged since yesterday.  The city has so far recovered 193 patients.  As well as the city’s merchants have decided not to open shops voluntarily until the May 3 lockdown deadline.  The proposal was made in front of the trade association.  I would like to congratulate him for this decision.  The shops, which are now open today, will also remain closed till May 3, following discussions with the trade association.

 Vijay Nehra further said that there were 243 cases in the city on April 18, followed by 234, 257, 228.  A few days ago there was a doubling rate of 4 days which is 8 days from all our efforts.  As well as the recovery rate has gone from 4 to 5 per cent to more than 10 per cent.  While at one time recovery and mortality were the same.  But now the number of recoveries has more than doubled.  Hotel Fern will cost Rs 3,500 per day while other hotels have also been contracted.  In which affluent people will be able to live in isolation at a cost of Rs. 3500 per day.

 A private hospital was being set up in Naroda, this hospital under construction has not been started and Kovid has offered to use it as a hospital and has prepared a 200-bed hospital.  The state government has demanded medical and paramedical staff.  When asked about the video of a woman's drinking water complaint, Vijay Nehra said that 3 types of drinking water have been arranged in the Samaras Hotel and as many bottles as needed.
 Water will be provided.

 Garage, puncture to AC, utensil and mobile shops open
 The shops were opened in Ahmedabad from today following the decision to allow shops to be opened with social distance in the state as per the guidelines of the Union Home Ministry.  Merchants opened shops with all the preparations to maintain social distance.  Shops including garage, puncher, utensil, stationery, mobile cell and repairing, recharge, AC, electronics, clothing show room, tailor, stores were open since morning.  The shopkeepers placed a table in front of the shop and tied the rope so that the customers would not crowd the shop.  The item was delivered to customers from outside.  People were also seen adhering to social distance.  People were also seen at garage shops for vehicle service and repairs.  Where people did not maintain social distance, people were persuaded and complied with.

 In Ahmedabad district, three more positive cases of corona were reported

 Three more positive cases of corona have been reported in Ahmedabad district Nada Sakroi taluka.  Two women and one man from Prajapati Vasani of Daskaroi have reported positive corona. With this, the total number of positive cases in rural areas has increased to 25.  So far in the district, cases of corona have been reported in Masanand, Bavala, Viramgam, Daskaroi, Dhandhuka. In Daskaroi alone, 18 positive cases have been reported. Out of the total 25 positive cases in rural areas, eight patients have recovered and returned home.

 So far 48 super spreaders have had corona
 Corona reports of 18 more super spreaders in Ahmedabad have come positive.  Out of the new 18, 16 are people selling vegetables, one of whom lives in Jodhpur ward.  So far 48 super spreaders have had corona.  A 20-year-old woman driving a vegetable truck has also been attacked by Corona.  Not all individuals had corona symptoms but their reports came back positive.  For the last 4 days, teams from the Municipal Health Department in the city have been conducting samples and testing of people who come in direct contact with the people on a daily basis, selling vegetables, running grocery stores and drug stores.  A total of more than 500 samples have been taken so far.  When the reports of 48 people came positive, they have been admitted in different facilities of the muni.  Most not a single person has seen any kind of severe symptoms of corona.  But their reports have come positive.

 On a further 14 patient ventilator, 1562 patient position stable
 A total of 1595 patients are currently undergoing treatment in Muni.had limit out of which 14 more patients are placed on ventilator.  The number was 19 on Friday.  Now a total of 33 people are on the ventilator.  According to Municipal Commissioner Vijay Nehra, 477 people are undergoing treatment in SVP, 584 in Civil and 482 in Samaras Kovid Care Center.  Of these, the condition of 1562 patients is stable.  13 are being treated at the private Sterling Hospital while 10 are being treated at the HCG Hospital.

 The report of the doctor of the medicine department of the SVP is positive
 Corona's report from three doctors who have private clinics in SVP, LG and Ghodasar has come positive.  The report of the doctor of the medicine department of SVP has been submitted coming positive.  So far, 20 paramedics, including doctors, have been found in LG.  The elderly doctor, who lives in Ghodasar and owns a private clinic, reported himself and the result was positive.  However, it is not clear where he contracted the infection.

 Appeal to pray and worship at home
 Vijay Nehra sent his best wishes to the Muslim community of Ramadan live on Facebook today.  He also thanked the people for their cooperation and appealed to them to offer prayers at home during Ramadan.  "Due to the hard work of all of us, our figure has gone down in the last 7 days instead of up," said Ahmedabad Corona Doubling Rate.  It is impossible to say whether the doubling rate will increase or decrease in the near future.
