Muharram Holiday change Official Notification Of Government Of Gujarat.

No.GS-25/2019-PHD/102018/1411/GH: Government of Gujarat has declared
public holidays for the year 2019 for Government offices and Banks vide the notification
dated 3 November, 2018.

In the Part 1 of the said Notification, the Public Holiday for Government Offices
mentioned at Sr. No. 16 and in the Part-II, Public Holiday for Banks under Negotiable
Instruments Act, 1881 mentioned at Sr. No. 11 has been declared as below:

Muharram (Ashoora) 11th September, 2019/20, Bhadrapad, 1941
Wednesday

It is hereby modified and the Public Holiday is declared as:

Muharram (Ashoora) 10th September, 2019 / 19, Bhadrapada, 1941
Tuesday

The Government Offices and Banks in Gujarat shall remain open on 11
September, 2019, Wednesday.

This order shall be applicable to the employees of Boards / Corporations of State
Government and Panchayat offices
